Tournament Basics
The UEFA European Football Championship, commonly known as Euro 2024, is an international football tournament held every four years for European men's national teams. The upcoming edition, UEFA Euro 2024, will be the 17th.
Tournament Schedule
Dates: June 14 - July 14, 2024
Euro 2024 will take place from June 14 to July 14, 2024. The tournament will kick off in Munich, Germany, and conclude with the final in Berlin.
Group Stage: June 14 - June 26
The group stage will take place from June 14 to June 26. The 24 participating teams will be divided into six groups of four. Each team will play three group matches, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage.
Knockout Stage: June 29 - July 14
The knockout stage will begin on June 29 with the round of 16. The eight group winners and eight runners-up will qualify for the knockout stage. The tournament will then proceed through the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final.
Participating Teams
Twenty-four teams will participate in Euro 2024. The tournament will feature some of the top teams in Europe, including defending champions Italy, France, England, and Spain.
