Djokovic Wins Fourth Straight Wimbledon Title

Novak Djokovic has claimed his fourth successive Wimbledon men's singles crown and 21st grand slam title overall after defeating Nick Kyrgios in the final.

The Serbian star overcame a strong challenge from the Australian to triumph in four sets, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3), in front of a packed Centre Court crowd.

Djokovic's victory marks his seventh Wimbledon title in total, moving him level with Pete Sampras as the second-most successful men's singles player in the tournament's history.

The win also extends Djokovic's dominance of men's tennis, with the 35-year-old now holding all four grand slam titles simultaneously.

Kyrgios, who was playing in his first grand slam final, pushed Djokovic hard throughout the match but was unable to overcome the Serbian's experience and class.

The Australian will be disappointed not to have claimed the title, but he can take heart from his impressive performance, which suggests he is capable of challenging for the very top prizes in the sport.
