Early Life and Career

Wojciech Szczesny was born on April 18, 1990, in Warsaw, Poland. He began his football career at the age of nine, joining the youth academy of Legia Warsaw. He made his professional debut for Legia in 2008.

Szczesny quickly established himself as one of the top goalkeepers in the Polish league. In 2009, he was named the Ekstraklasa Goalkeeper of the Year. He also helped Legia win the Polish Cup in 2008 and 2011.

Move to Arsenal

In 2010, Szczesny signed for Arsenal for a fee of £5 million. He quickly became the club's first-choice goalkeeper, making his debut in a Champions League match against Barcelona.

Szczesny was a key member of the Arsenal team that won the FA Cup in 2014 and 2015. He also helped the club reach the Champions League final in 2016.

Loan to Roma

In 2016, Szczesny was sent on loan to Roma. He made 34 appearances for the Italian club, helping them finish second in Serie A.

Return to Arsenal and Departure

Szczesny returned to Arsenal in 2017, but he found himself behind Petr Cech in the pecking order. He made just 13 appearances for the club before leaving on loan to Juventus in 2018.
